POUND HOUSE HERITAGE GALA SET FOR APRIL 30, 2010

Heritage Gala, benefiting the Dr. Pound Pioneer Historical Museum, will be held Friday, April 30, 2010. The festive evening will take place on the historic museum grounds from 6:30 p. m. to10:30 p. m. under a beautifully adorned party tent. Guests will enjoy fine wine tasting and food stations by local chefs and restaurants such as Jack Allan’s Kitchen, Verde’s, Rolling in Thyme and Dough, and Silver K Restaurant to name a few. Dance music will be provided by Tony Harrison and The Hot Texas Band, a group known for popular versatility. The evening will also include both silent and live auctions; a sample of the auction items includes a week-long stay in a lakeside cottage in Michigan, a garden sculpture, and a Longhorn calf.

Tours of the historic museum will be given throughout the evening.
